Of all the moments in this show that people consider to be important, this one has always been the most important to me. This moment is more important than anything in Prophecy Girl, Surprise/Innocence, Passion, Becoming, Graduation Day, Primeval, The Body, The Gift, Bargaining, Seeing Red, Grave, Lessons, or Chosen.

This is the purpose of the show. This is the power of the show. This is the strongest message that the show sends.

OMFG THIS IS IT!!!! This is every reason why Buffy will always be better than TVD. I grew up with a show that taught me that the “collateral damage” does matter. And I will never believe otherwise!
